Faith52 is my personal website that offers guests a place of
daily prayer, meditation and reflection in a progressive Christian tradition.
My faith background is with The United Church of Canada and my own creative spirituality. In my life I call God 'steady love'. Christ shows me the freedom in loving neighbour and self. And the Spirit moves me toward justice and dignity for humanity and our world.

What does the 52 stand for?
I chose "52" because there are 52 weeks in a year. My website guides you through a weekly prayer cycle.
What is the United Church of Canada?
Why not let them introduce themselves at united-church.ca
Christian meditation? I've never heard of that.
Following Jesus' example, Christians have practiced meditation as a way of silent prayer. John Main and Lawrence Freeman have done a wonderful job of reviving the practice for modern times. Learn more at wccm.org

The Christian practice and perspective on this website

There are so many ways to connect with God, Christ and the Spirit. Feel free to come and go as feels comfortable to you.
Why are there few representations of people of colour here?
When I first started this website it was just for me. I was looking to find ways to represent myself and my personal feelings & experiences.
