Yesterday I saw a fascinating movie that bridges science and spirituality with beautiful left-brain/right-brain balance. The movie, entitled "I AM", follows the film-maker's personal journey through illness, the search for greater meaning, connection and personal transformation. The film asks, "What if the solution to the world's problems was right in front of us all along?", and answers that question beautifully.

What I liked most about this movie was search followed by informed action. I also loved learning about the science of connection and interconnectedness. Science is so usefully in helping us understand the mysteries of creation more deeply. Because of the film-maker's background he was able to have access to great thinkers of our time: Desmond Tutu, Noam Chomsky and David Suzuki, and it was humbling to listen to their wisdom. I would highly recommend this movie to seekers and action-takers. The film is available now (Feb 2015) on Canadian Netflix. ~MM
