A Prayer after the Death of Jeffrey Epstein

Dead. Jeffrey Epstein is dead. God, we see the forces of great evil that have molested justice.

It flares in us, oh God, A rage that flares our nostrils at the stench of the evilness before us. A righteous anger at power networked to use and abuse. We cry out, may we your people cry out: WRONG! We will not allow justice to be hung, oh God! With you, we will not bury the voices of the victims and survivors with the perpetrators.

Let us shine lights into the deep shadows taken to the grave. Let us lift to the surface the 6 feet of layers of corruption and silence. Oh God, let justice be known not only for for this dead man, for this scapegoat, but for every predator, every sexual abuser, every molester, every co-conspirator, every enabler, every intimidator, every manipulator, every liar, every client, every abuser. No! God, our God, we stand, we rise and we will shine your justice together With you in the power and strength we know In being your people, united in justice and strength, Amen.
