Blessings on St-Jean Baptiste Day

This is a description of an amazing moment that is around me right now, that I simply had to share. Read it if want, or don't if it's too long, I understand. 🌼 So, this is literally where I am right now: It's a perfect early summer night. My neighbour to the left is out playing guitar, strumming a Quebecois folk song in the background. I’m sitting on my balcony with a bookcase of pink flowers and twinkle lights in front of me. My balcony overhangs a koi pond with 6 or 7 koi fish swimming around in the pale blue water. I’m listening to the sound of the fountains in the middle of the pond. To the right is my neighbor’s terasse. He’s planted his plants into big pots with LED lights that cycle through the colours of the rainbow. To the left is a fig tree. I know now from experience that this tree produces amazing fruit. Just behind the tree is the grassy backyard of my Spanish-speaking neighbors. They recently fertilized their grass to bright green and bought a red outdoor umbrella. Now they’ve got family over and the kids are playing soccer while the olders visit. Earlier today the next family, of Asian heritage, came in and out to their backyard. I love seeing how the teenage boy is so caring toward his grandmother. Earlier they were out to water and check through their garden. Behind them in the next lot is a black family having cocktails & a bbq on their raised-wood balcony. For them it's the olders who are hanging out in the yard playing something that sounds like horseshoes. If I look up I can see some stars, and my cat is in this moment purring neaby. Wow, thank you GOD. You’ve really outdone yourself on this one.
