Falling Upward

Curious title, no?

I've just started reading this book for the Rev.'s book club. The book by Richard Rohr "invites us to see the value of our own experience of aging as the way God is moving us from doing to being, from achieving to appreciating ... to trusting the strange process in which as we diminish, we strangely expand..." (from the book intro).

"As we diminish, we expand"... Being at crossroad of aging in my own life, I'm looking forward to reading this book. In particular, I am interested to read it in the context of a book club. I hope that some older members of the congregation will attend. I would be interested to hear their insights. More to come :) ~ mm
