Last night was date night at our place... cozing up on the couch with my sweetheart! We decided to watch "Living on One Dollar", about four guys studying economics at university, who decide to use their summer vacation to do an immersive study in an empoverished village in Guatemala. As ecomony students, they were interested to experience living on a dollar a day each, and to learn how people managed their money and day-to-day on so little.
I'm so glad we watched this film! We both loved it and hope you will too. It's available now on Canadian Netflix.

About the documentary:
Living on One Dollar is a film and journey that follows our own experience living on $1 a day for two months in rural Guatemala. We battle intense hunger, parasites and the realization that there are no easy answers, but find hope in the inspiring lives of our neighbors Rosa, a 20 year old woman, and Chino, a 12 year old boy.
