"We know that all things work together for good for those who love God" ~ Romans 8:28

Collage art: "Encourage Win-Win", by Aaron M., June 2015.
Collage art is easy, fun and for everyone! I've seen total newbies collage some really cool artworks on their first try. Keep reading to learn more!
What is collage?
Doing collage is about cutting up magazines and newspapers, and putting the pieces back together to make a new picture.
The cool part is how you decide what is useful for your picture, and leave out what isn't useful. I find collage is a great way to see everyday items in new ways.
Another thing I love about collage, is that for me it is very peaceful. I love flipping through a magazine, cutting things out and arranging them on the page. It is very calming and simply nice to do with other people.

Collage art: "The Good Shepherd", by Aaron M., May 2015.
What is collage art with a spiritual intention?
When I cut up an old Ikea catalogue, I put it together in a new way. For example: When I was doing the collage above, I had in my mind "the good shepherd". It felt really artistic, and I love looking at it now in my home.
It's simple to bring "spiritual intention" to your collage time: when you sit down, take a quiet moment to ask God for a spiritual intention or direction. Sometimes you have an inspiration right away, other times, it takes a little while for it to come.
