Let's Get Disorganized

Today let's take a look at models of organizational structure. I'm interested to start thinking about "disorganizing religion" as a compliment to our "organized religion". Current models in business, nation, and non-profits seems like a good place to start.

Let's begin!

Countries' Organizational Structures

What works better, best or differently in a global context.

It's inspiring to consider that nations can be so

varied in their functional approach

serving their people:

Most important take-away:

How is heirarchy managed?

How is the flow of information managed?

Business Organizational Models:

Notice, if you will,

how does your experience of each country or company compare to their organizational chart? Is there any relation for you?

Below still other visualizations

of working structures:

To ponder:

There are SO MANY ways to organize, and disorganize, a nation, business and gather.

How do simple or complex organizational structures contribute to the creativity, efficiency and functioning of a group?

How can each of these inform our church organization?

How can each of these inform our place as communities-of-faith in communities and larger society?

Please write to me with your thoughts!

Let's make positive change happen!

More to come!
